Pregnancy and Susac syndrome. Continue steroids at the lowest possible dose. Fully referenced neurology checklist.

Preconception

  • Continue steroids at the lowest possible dose
  • Continue intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIg)
  • Stop Mycophenolate, Methotrexate and Cyclophosphamide
  • Consider switching to IVIg ± Azathioprine or Rituximab
