Aspirin and surgery

  • Continue Aspirin for minor dental, skin, or cataract surgery
  • Continue for non-cardiac surgery if the risk of a cardiovascular event is high
  • Withhold Aspirin for 7-10 days before surgery if the risk of thrombosis is low
